Heart Transplant Surgery Procedure

The heart is initially brought at rest, by applying some solutions over it, and instantly a heat lung bypass machine is connected to it to supply oxygen to lungs and body parts. Now the damaged heart is safely removed from the chamber and donor’s heart is replaced at the position. After the replacement of the heart, the heart-lung machine is then removed.
